Fashion bloggers, editors and celebrities are some of the highest followed people on the internet. We look to them for style inspiration, but sometimes it can be hard to translate their ultra trendy outfits into a more everyday look. For those of us who don’t constantly have fancy events to go to, I rounded up 5 of the biggest winter fashion pieces that all the insiders are wearing. AND easy ways to style them for day to day to day wear.

1. Slouchy Boots

Inspired by the 90s, this trend is either loved or absolutely hated. However, you will not be able to escape it this Winter! They are surprisingly versatile- you can pair them with a super casual outfit or dress them up. There are so many great options in inexpensive retailers and brands; like Aldo, Asos and Boohoo. To make them look even more chic and high price, look for them in a metallic finish!

2. Asymmetrical Tie Mini Skirts

I have been seeing these skirts everywhere, and I mean EVERYWHERE. Designers ranging from Topshop to Isabel Marant are making skirts with this asymmetrical hem and with a tie on the side. The perfect thing about it is they are super casual and easy to style. Throw on a t-shirt and some clean white sneakers and you have the perfect effortless look every fashion insider loves to rock.

3. Baker Boy Hats

We started seeing these hats in the beginning of the summer, but they are continuing into winter in thicker fabrics and darker colors. They are super on trend, and will elevate even the most casual outfit. After being on sort of an anti-hat kick for the past couple of years, I am SO happy there is finally a new hat trend for winter. #YAYHATS

4. Broad shouldered Structured Blazer

Now this is a huge throwback- shoulder pads are back! Although the full exaggerated shoulder hasn’t returned quite yet, the shoulders are a little wider than they used to be. I have always been scared to try pieces with shoulder pads because I feel like they will overpower my figure, but I have found the solution! Keep the rest of your outfit slim and skin-hugging so the blazer doesn’t drown you out completely. Pair one with distressed denim and a t-shirt for a casual-chic look!

5. Sheer Mesh bodysuit

This has to be one of my favorite pieces for the wintertime because it is the ultimate layering piece. Pair it with your favorite bralette and you insantly have a look with the perfect mix between edgy and feminine. You can throw on a cropped sweater and see the mesh peeking out underneath or pair it with a thick cardigan to add more warmth.
