Being that it is spring break, and I am headed to Miami in a couple of days, I decided to show you guys some of my travel essentials. I can sometimes be an anxious traveler and having some comfortable items with me just makes the whole process a little easier.
- Good Movies
Having some really good movies downloaded onto your laptop, phone or tablet is a really helpful way to waste some time when traveling long distances. Some of my favorites are The Devil Wears Prada, Confessions of a Shopaholic, The Intern, Spectre and Divergent.
After being on a flight for so long, your skin gets super dry from the elevation and the recycled air. This hand cream is the solution: it is a super thick formula that makes even the driest skin super smooth. BONUS: it has a light fresh scent, which helps you relax and calm down
Aromatherapy is a great way to subdue some of your travel/flight anxieties. I love the smell of roses so having this perfume during flight keeps me feeling calm and collected. And having it in rollerball form makes it great for traveling.
I am an avid reader, so I usually bring multiple, but all you really need is one really good book. I am currently reading , and LOVE it so far. Some classic favorites are: The Beginning of Everything by Robyn Schneider, The Selection by Kiera Cass, and The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks.
Yes, I am the sunglass queen, but having sunglasses is a must for everyone when traveling. Perfect to block out the sun, but also helpful as a subtle do not disturb sign if your sitting next to someone a little overly friendly on the plane. - A Good Playlist
This isn’t something tangible that you can bring with you, but it is always helpful to have some good music to distract you if there are any complications or turbulence during your flight. Check out my spotify to see what tracks I am loving right now: glamorizeit
These makeup wipes are my absolute favorite. They smell amazing and make you feel super clean. Perfect to hydrate your skin mid-flight or when you are too tired to remove your makeup at the end of an exciting day of adventures.’
8. BONUS: Planner
If you are a little too organized like me, then you will like this one. I bring my planner along with me whenever I travel, but especially on long flights. I find that setting up the next couple of weeks in my planner on the flight home helps me feel a little bit better about going back to work.
