Happy November! I actually cannot believe it is already November. Just so you know, Thanksgiving is in 3 weeks. Yep. September and October FLEW by, but I am so excited for the colder weather and the holiday season to begin. But, before I get fully into Holiday mode, I thought I would round up some of my October favorites. From fashion to beauty and food, I’ve got you covered with everything you need! Shop all of them by clicking the title of the item, or by clicking through the widget (blogger talk for the scrolly thing) for similar versions of my favorite things! *cue the Sound of Music song*
I know, I know, does Gabi really need more sweaters? The short answer is No, but BooHoo was having a 60% off sale on their entire site, so it would’ve been a crime if I didn’t pick up at least one (or 3) thing! My favorite piece was this distressed cable knit sweater. It is the coziest thing and is less than $20! YES LESS THAN 20 GIVE ME ALL OF THEM. It comes in 2 colors (I got the Mocha one) and honestly is my favorite sweater. And that is a hard thing for me to say.
This isn’t a new product by any means, but recently I have been grabbing these way more than any other shoe in my collection. Since it is getting colder, I am getting lazier and lazier with my outfits, but these are the easiest shoes to throw on. They look super cute and trendy (thank God athleisure is a trend), but they are also super comfortable.
The one piece that I have worn literally every single day since I bought it was my orange-brown leather jacket with a cream colored fur collar. You’ve probably seen it in multiple instagrams, but it really is the best layering piece. I bought it at Marshalls, which is my favorite store ever, but there are so many great options for under $100! But guys, I actually found it on the TJ Maxx website and it is on SALE for over 45% off! I feel like you can never go wrong with a leather/ faux leather jacket, so it is definitely a must have for the winter months.
4. Wool Hat
I am such a hat person, I would wear a hat literally all my life if it was socially acceptable. I have been bringing out my classic wool fedora hat lately, it just makes every single outfit look amazingly put together. Adding a hat to your outfit not only completes the look, it also keeps you warm and saves you from a bad hair day! Yay hats!!
Nothing puts me in more of a wintery mood than throwing on a dark lip. Instead of my normal berry purple color, I tried out this deep wine red colored lip paint by Tarte and I am addicted. I probably wear this color 6 out of the 7 days of the week and I just can’t get enough! It is super easy to apply, dries matte, but feels super hydrating and lightweight on the lips.
I’ve been liking a more full coverage foundation for the colder weather, but it has always been hard for me to find one that worked on my dry skin. I love this one by Laura Geller because it doesn’t get cakey or patchy. It is a fuller coverage, but it is still dewy and looks really great on the skin. It also can be applied by brush or sponge and doesn’t even need to be set with a powder!
GUYS. Once you try these cookies, you will never buy regular old supermarket cookies anymore. They are the most delicious cookies on the planet, they are gluten free AND they are healthy for you! Yes, I just called cookies Healthy, sue me. They use almond flour, tigernut flour (has prebiotic properties= good for your tummy) and coconut oil- all ingredients full of nutrients! If you try anything in this favorites list, try these. They are SO GOOD.
Ending this list with another snack, because who doesn’t love food? Hippeas are the best snack if you are craving something salty and crunchy. They have so many flavors, my fav is the Vegan White Cheddar. Also, these are actually good for you, so no snack guilt here! They are made with chickpeas which are super high in protein and make them super delicious. Also, they sell them at Starbucks, which is super convenient.
That is everything I have been loving for the month of October. Should I do more monthly favorite posts? What were some of your October Favorites? Let me know in the comments!
