The 2016 Grammy Awards was a great night full of great music and trend-setting fashion. Florence Welch and Ellie Goulding brought some brightness and springtime into the Grammy’s with their blush toned gowns. The moon & stars detailing on the Gucci gown worn by Florence added an unexpected bohemian touch to this traditional award show.The gradient colored Armani gown worn by Kacey Musgraves is reminiscent of the pink “cupcake dress” Rihanna wore at last years Grammys, but with a tighter silhouette and darker color palette, she doesn’t look, well, like a cupcake. Taylor and Tori’s gowns both include bright colors giving us a longing for warmer weather.
The red Romona Keveza gown Ariana wore included button detailing along the corset-style front and back of the train gave a vintage feel to the gown. The color black was a big trend, but as you can see in the gowns worn by Bella and Carrie, we saw much more skin with large cutouts and high slits, making this a definite trend for the spring season.
