In high school, I wouldn’t be caught dead in leggings or sweatpants. Now, it’s basically all I wear! This summer one of my biggest goals is to go to the gym more often and increase my physical strength. I want to be one of those people who look tiny, but can lift like 5000 pounds.
Ok maybe not 5000 pounds, but you know what I mean.
To inspire myself to keep after this goal I decided I needed to re-vamp my workout clothes. Usually I would just throw on a pair of black leggings and an old t-shirt, but I thought maybe if I had more exciting workout clothes I would want to workout more. Surprisingly, they have such good workout clothes and all for under $30. You can’t go wrong.

NYC tip; there’s a outlet store in the city that has everything $10!! You can also find some of their stuff at TJ Maxx and Marshalls for around $20-$30
Fabletics
I tried Fabletics when they had one of those “first outfit for $10” deals and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. The quality of their leggings and sports bras were amazing and I still have them 4 years later! They have a deal for new members, 2 for $24. It doesn’t cost anything to become a member, you just get access to discounted prices. You can’t go wrong!
Nordstrom Rack
Name brands for less? Count me in! They have SO many workout clothes to choose from, and they are all name brands so you know the quality is going to be great. I prefer to shop their athletic wear online because they usually only have a small amount in the stores, and you can get everything in so many colors. That’s my secret- once I find something I like I buy it in every single color and pattern!
