Sustainability is nothing new, but it is becoming even more mainstream as everyone is paying more attention to the environment and what companies we are supporting with our dollars.
I rounded up some of my favorite sustainable brands that I have been trying to support. Although sustainable brands usually have a higher price point, the quality of the products are so much higher so these pieces will last you forever.

1. Vitamin A Swim
I realized that none of my bathing suits matched so I set out to find a few good quality bikini sets that will last me a long time. I found Vitamin A swim on Gilt when they had a few pieces on SUPER SALE. And then I loved it so much that I ordered a few pieces on their site. They are also mostly all REVERSIBLE so it’s basically like getting 2 suits for the price of 1. They have a bunch of sales going on right now, and if you google coupons you might be able to find an extra 20% coupon code.
They also show how much gallons of water are saved, waste diverted and emissions avoided through their processes, proving that sustainability is sexy.
2. Moon River Vintage & Thrift
This is a vintage thrift Depop shop (although they also have a BOMB instagram). I don’t know how they do it, but they seriously find the coolest pieces ever and they price them so well. The girls who run it are so sweet, they use sustainable packaging and it is just all around a great shopping experience. The most sustainable way of shopping is to buy secondhand/ thrift to keep those pieces in rotation and make fashion more circular. Scroll through their shop and you will for sure not be disappointed.
3. Retro Rhapsody on Etsy
This is a new shop that I found recently, and the pieces that she sources are absolutely dreamy! I found her on Instagram, @smallneeds, but she sells on Etsy! The most aesthetic shop, and again all the pieces are vintage so super sustainable. She is also on of the sweetest people I follow on Instagram, and her eye for style just cannot be beat.
And with your purchase you are supporting a small business, which is always a great thing!
4. Everlane
If you haven’t heard of Everlane, you might be living under a rock, it has become the most talked about sustainable brand out there. The pricing of their pieces are much lower than most sustainable brands (like $58 for a romper that would normally retail at $140?!!!! Score!!!) and the quality is amazing. They have simple styles in multiple colors so it is a perfect brand to create your capsule wardrobe. They also have shoes and accessories, so you can get a whole sustainable outfit. I love them for basics that will last season after season.
This brand really is changing the game and makes shopping sustainable a no brainer!
5. Poshmark
You have all probably heard of Poshmark, but I have become even more obsessed with it recently. It is an app where anyone can sell clothes, accessories, beauty and even home decor. It is like one big thrift store that you can shop, all from the comfort of your home. You can search by brand, make offers (to get prices EVEN lower) and people even list brand new with tags items on there. It is a bit of a treasure hunt, but always check here before you buy something new because you will never know what you will find!
