Since fashion month is now officially over, I have spent hours, more like *days*, looking through every show on Vogue runway to bring you the top 20 trends for the Fall Winter 2018 season. I know it is a little early to talk about next Winter, but hop on these trends now and you’ll be ahead of all your friends. Shop my favorite picks in the sliders below the posts and stay tuned to see how I bring these trends into my wardrobe in my future outfit posts!

All Images are from Vogue Runway

1. Highlighter Hues

Just because it’s winter doesn’t mean you have to forgo all color- add some neon pieces into your wardrobe to brighten up the sometimes dull season.

2. Metallic/ Silver

Don’t be afraid to shine- layer multiple metallic pieces for extra style points.

3. Suiting Stripes- Pinstripes

Pinstripes aren’t just for suits. Find this office appropriate pattern in everything from jumpsuits to cropped jackets.

4. Monochrome in Color

Monochromatic is the biggest trend for this season. Get a little creative with it by creating a head to toe look using an un-conventional color.

5. Leather

Leather is the fabric of focus this season, use it as the main texture in your outfits.

6. Animal Print

Let your inner animal out by finding pieces with a bold animal print.

7. Long Fringe

The days of short fringe at the hem’s of pants or shirts are over- this season we are seeing fringe take center stage. Look for pieces with extra long fringe and swish all day long.

8. Plaid

This preppy print is being seen everywhere this season. Mix multiple plaid pieces in one outfit for extra style points.

9. Bold Pattern Mixing

Go bold by mixing patterns. There are no more rules so have fun with it!

10. Red & Monochrome Red

Nothing makes you feel more powerful than throwing on a red lip, so bring extra confidence into your look by going for a monochromatic look. Try mixing different tones of red for extra style points.

11. Denim & Mixing Denim

An excuse to buy more denim? I’m always up for that. Try for a full denim look- keeping in the same wash for a monochromatic effect.

12. 50 Shades of Mustard Yellow

Move over Christian Grey, Mustard Yellow is the color of the season. Try a more orange toned mustard, or go for more of a green hue.

13. Seeing Spots

Embrace your inner 1950s housewife and bring some polka dots into your wardrobe. This fun print isn’t reserved for the Spring any longer.

14. All White

White is the new black. Literally. Go for white head to toe to look extra chic.

15. Puffer Coats

Don’t get rid of your puffer coats, this trend is continuing from this winter in an even puffier way.

16. Quilted

The detail of this season is quilting. Try adding it into your wardrobe in even the smallest ways- a quilted bag, belt or pair of sneakers.

17. Tie Around the Waist

Bring the focus to your waist- tie a neck scarf over any piece of clothing; fur coat, sweater, skirt, literally anything!

18. Wide Buckle Belts

Your pants will fall down no more- belts are back and wider than ever. Find one with a statement buckle for extra style points.

19. Belt Bags

Trade your fanny packs for a slimmer silhouette- it’ll force you to carry less.

20. Colored Lens Sunglasses

Bring some color into your life in the easiest way possible- throw on a pair of sunglasses with a red or blue lens.

What is your favorite trend?

xoxo Gabriela
